All these lumps & containers are taking up valuable freezer space that could be used to freeze lots of tubs of Mackie's Butterscotch ice cream :)
Today I've defrosted 3 lumps of pastry, which is going to be used to make a apple jam turnover type pudding for the kids this evening. I've an idea in my head how they should look/taste so fingers crossed I can pull it together, not so sure what to do with the 2 kippers that I found, perhaps a treat for Zaba the dog?

Frozen fish is always one of my 'need to use up everything in the freezer' items. Strangely this time accompanied by Ben & Jerry's Cherry Garcia....(I don't know how its still in there either but it has been since last summer!) and a bag of mushroom rice. Hmmm.

ReplyDeleteI keep saying ill have a freezer week where i cook and use up everything cluttering up the freezer but never actually get round to it... might have to make that my ew challenge lol
ReplyDeleteGood luck, I always find it satisfying to use up those odd bits of food. We moved recently and I found it strangely satisfying to use up all the food so that I had an empty freezer. Of course it soon fills back up again...!
